I use two small digital cameras bolted together in light wooden bracket made from scraps.
I synchronise the shutters by counting to three and pressing the buttons.
The software used is the wonderful and free Stereophotomaker.
This produces anaglyphs, which I use on screen, and to print out stereo pairs for a stereo viewer
